The Hills BIGGEST community event of the year returns this August bringing with it a month long celebration of community and local talent.
Orange Blossom Festival 2017 (OBF) will feature a variety of Associated Events running from 19 August - 25 September centred around Zest Fest on Sunday 27 August which will be held at its new home at Bella Vista Farm from 10am-7pm.
This year’s Zest Fest is jam packed with even more for the whole family to enjoy including the return of all your Zest Fest favourites plus some exciting new editions!
Special guest performance by Lee Kernaghan
See four time ARIA award winner Lee Kernaghan when he brings his 25th Anniversary tour to Zest Fest on Sunday 27 August. Entry is FREE.
For the first time OBF will include a youth zone which will feature DJs, air tattoo, break dancing, rock climbing wall, photo booth, roving entertainment, rides, giveaways and more.
Green Thumb Zone
Gardening enthusiasts will love OBF’s NEW Green Thumb Zone. Discover tips and tricks for creating a thriving garden, learn the importance of conservation from passionate bushcare volunteers, join the community seeding workshop and leave with your very own seedling.
This year’s mouth-watering selection of food trucks are sure to satisfy every craving with over 15 delicious pop-ups to try.
Everyone’s favourite Orange returns bringing with her a bunch of fantastic activities for kids to enjoy, including meet and greets with Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam and Pippa the Orange, kids’ passport challenge with prizes, face painting, animal farm, Mad Hatter’s workshops, Big Yellow Bus, Reverse Garbage, Healthy Harold, pop-up library, Circus Skills Workshop and kids rides.
Active Zest is action packed in 2017 with more sporting groups, local clubs and challenges than ever before, featuring GWS, Wanderers, Cricket NSW and Netball NSW, to name a few.
Launched in 2016, Zest Quest is a continuation of Crestwood Idol and features performances from some of The Hills most talented youth aged 6-18.
Local Blooms Stage
Start the day with an early morning yoga session, then sit back, relax and enjoy performances from local performance groups plus special guest performances from Dirt Girl and Australian music icon Lee Kernaghan.
Pay a visit to Community Grove and learn all about the amazing groups that work tirelessly all year round to make The Hills such a great place to live.
