The much-loved Orange Blossom Festival (OBF) will return to The Hills Shire in September 2024 with a new and exciting food event at Wisemans Ferry.   

A Taste of Wisemans celebrates the best food, wine and produce from local businesses in the rural north of the Shire and along the Hawkesbury River. 

This new event will be a  foodie’s heaven, with local producers, wineries, distilleries, and food vendors offering an outstanding array of choices within the stunning surroundings of Wisemans Ferry Park.

Services include residential housing, social and community day programs, including a micro-enterprise program, a s specialist K-12 school, a biodynamic farm, a bakery, organic farm shop and public cafe.

  • Hills Daily Grind - Local social enterprise brewing up fresh coffee

Social Story

A Social Story has been developed to help individuals with a disability on what to expect when coming to our event. It prepares them for social situations by providing clear information about what will happen and what typical responses might be.

The 2024 festival has expanded to three major events, the OBF Night Markets, the iconic OBF Parade and the new Taste of Wisemans event in Wisemans Ferry.

A range of OBF Associated Events (organised and delivered by community groups)  will also be held throughout September as part of the month-long festival.

Parking & Shuttle Bus

Paid timed parking is available for the event at the Wisemans Ferry Boat Ramp Car Park.

Limited free parking is reserved for disability access.

  • Cars 0 - 2 hours - FREE
  • 2 - 3 hours - $3
  • 3+ hours - $6
  • Cars with trailers $8 flat fee after 30 minutes

*No cash payments - credit/debit card only.

Additional Parking

A free shuttle bus will run between 10am – 4pm from NSW Ski Park on River Road, Wisemans Ferry to the Boat Ramp Car Park on Old Northern Road, an easy 5-minute walk to the event at Wisemans Ferry Park.
