The much-loved Orange Blossom Festival (OBF) will return to The Hills Shire in September 2024, with the month-long celebration of The Hills Shire kicking off with the OBF Night Markets at Castle Hill Showground on Saturday 7 September,

In partnership with Aussie Night Markets, festival goers can expect a family friendly event for all ages, with food and rides, free entertainment and activities and fireworks. 

 

Entertainment

Award-winning artist Emma Memma (globally recognised as Emma Wiggle) will perform her fabulously fun show.

Emma said she couldn’t wait to dazzle thousands of families.

“I’m so excited to be back in The Hills Shire for OBF 2024 and twirl with everyone alongside my dear friend, BB Butterfly! There will be lots of dancing, singing and sign language and we can't wait for all the children to join us,” Emma said.

There will also be high energy performances from DJs and acrobatic extraordinaire Dauntless Movement Crew will also take to the stage on the night.

The 2024 the Orange Blossom Festival has expanded to three major events, the OBF Night Markets, the iconic OBF Parade and the new Taste of Wisemans event in Wisemans Ferry.

A range of OBF Associated Events (TBA), organised and delivered by community groups, will also be held throughout September as part of the month-long festival. 

 

Access and Inclusion

A Social Story has been developed to help people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and may also be useful for other people with learning and intellectual disorders to understand what to expect when coming to our event. It prepares them for social situations by providing clear information about what will happen and what typical responses might be.
